Any reason to why you went with Intel? There’s a sticky thread describing the advantages of AMD and issues with Intel.

hi guys is this a good PC for gaming & using discord etc
my monitor is a msi optix g27c4

i have attached a picture of the specs
This looks like a PC from Curry's. Is it a PCS build being sold from Curry's or a PC from a different company. If it's a different company we aren't able to hlep, if it's a PCS PC then send a link and we can have a look!

There are also a few issues with the PC you've linked such as RAM being too slow and case isn't great for airflow. (link deleted but op goes here)

As there's no specific reason to go for Intel other than you like it, I've recommended an AMD build as they're currently blowing Intel out the water, especially when it comes to gaming

For around the same price as the Curry's PCS build, I'd recommend this. For 1080p the 3070 is far too much and will be bottlenecked by the monitor. The 3060TI is still very overkill but you could argue it's to make sure you're using the full 165hz of your monitor and it's futureproofing for if you plan to upgrade to 1440p. The 5600X currently performs better than the i7 1700K (and is cheaper) and the RAM on this build is much more suitable. For this build you also have a Gen 4 NVME (Which Intel doesn't support) for Windows, a 512gb SSD for games and a 2TB HDD for file storage. The PSU will give plenty of power, run the system comfortably and leave room for upgrades down the line.

Based on the Curry's link I've also assumed you're in Ireland so changed the build to Euros and selected shipping to Ireland

How long would I be waiting on an order like this to get to me as for the current gpu situation ? Any estimated time ?

Thats the issue, its apparently so random no one can really tell you when it comes to the parts not in stock/preorder builds.
It also depends on which of the current ones you want, 3060 seems to be much easier/quicker than a 3070 for example.
People are hoping the next month makes a big difference, at the moment it is slow.
It gives a two week estimate and none of it is preorder, so I think that would be roughly correct.

Juniors build is more than enough for what you have said though, on a 1080p screen (even with the 165MHz refresh) a 3060Ti is not going to have any issues at all.

Boom, here’s a cracking 1080p build that’d suit your current monitor perfectly 👍

Nice honestly you wont be disappointed and with juniors build if you did jump up to a 1440p monitor the 3060ti would handle it better and the build allows for a gpu change in a few years if you wanted to go higher ! Just be warned there may be abit of a wait on the 5600x and 3060ti but its well worth the wait !

Another recommendation for a good 1440p 144hz monitor if you like red is the AOC CQ27G2U for a curved monitor or if you'd prefer a flat panel the Q27G2U. The curved variant actually beats the Samsung in this comparison on RTings! Both AOC's can be found for £300 or less online quite easily.
