Judging by the posts by users on the rtx 3080 thread, waiting times for a system with the rtx 3080 in it are approximately 90 - 100 working days (around 20 weeks).
That sucks man, im sure none of us want to even think about the fact that our PC might have issues even after we wait so long for it. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get a replacement!
Trust me I know how you feel, this is really testing my patience. 🥲 But the main thing getting me through this is that yes it might be hard now, but in the long run i'm sure we both will be happy we stuck with the Ti because it'll last longer in terms of performance! :)
Seeing you go from the 3060 Ti to the 3060 and quickly go into building is tempting me to do the same. xD Plus the fact that they apparently still have stock have of the rtx 3060. But im trying my hardest to just be patient and wait for the Ti, the struggle is real! (first world problems)
Thank you for the information, I was planning to stick with the B550 as it seems to only have issues with USB2. The thing that worries me the most is the many threads I’ve seen about BSODs 🤔
I will likely stick with the B550 I guess I just have to hope and pray that my board doesn’t run into...
I recently ordered a new build which includes a b550 with a 5600x CPU. Online I have been seeing a lot of threads that the motherboard has had issues such as USB disconnecting and random restarts and BSODs. On the one hand I do want the B550 because it might have more room for future upgrades...
I think you made the right choice sticking with the rtx 3060 ti for a 1440p 144hz monitor. The rtx 3060 ti seems to do well at that resolution and maintaining high frame rate, whereas the rtx 3060 would struggle with newer games even though it has more vram.
Ah right okay! I only made a new thread because this post wasn't originally for spec advice and I thought if I made a new one under the "CHECK THIS SPEC" I would get more responses as that category seems to be more lively than this one! My bad! :)
I recently ordered a PC and was just wondering what you guys think? My budget is around £1,300. Plan on using it for gaming with some 3D modelling on the side. The monitor I'll be using is 1080p 75Hz.
Here's the spec:
