No (though you wouldn't be covered for any damge you cause), but I don't know why you'd want to. Slot 1 is PCIe 4.0 and 2&3 are PCIe 3.0, but you only have PCIe 3.0 SSDs, so it doesn't make a (significant) difference which slots they're in. (That is to say, it might make a measurable difference, but it won't make a perceptible one.)
Yes, you are right.. but I'm only trying to find a solution.. using m.2 some sata port are disabled..
Actually, m.2 on m.2_2 and m.2_3 disable sata_2-5-6.. so idk...
Now i have updated BIOS, no problem occured during installation but If i insert the HD i got the same problem.. i tried to switch xmp between I and II.. i tried to use a single cable for the HD..
I have 11th gen Intel so i can use m.2_1 (idk why they didn't used It)

Lol idk what to do 😅

Probably because you wouldn't get the benefit from it, so they left the slot available for a later addition of a PCIe 4.0 drive. Or perhaps just because it was easier as they only had to faff with the one heatsink.

How many SATA drives do you have connected? Can you not use, say, SATA ports 3 or 4? (They're the top two in the bank of four SATA ports at the bottom of the motherboard, towards the right-hand side, if you're not aware.)

Probably because It was more fast to assemble😅

I tested all the sata port.. on everyone there Is the problem.. the last test was on the fourth sata port.. can It be a problem of setting in BIOS?

0 other sata connected

The second HD of the RMA is broken too...

I changed SSD slots from m.2_2/3 to m.2_1/2... I tried to insert the HD and nothing... BIOS didn't go up...

At last, I get the old Sata HD from my old pc... and in the same Sata Port, the same Power slot... magically it works...

What do I have to do now? A second RMA? Other 2 weeks to have the HD again back? I know this isn't guilty of PCS, probably FedEx used it like a rugby ball.. but if they didn't forget the first screws, now nothing would happen...

I would phone PCS (don't email, phone) and ask to speak to the RMA Manager. Talk through your issues and frustrations with him and see what PCS can do to get you a working PC. :)

Yes it does. BIOS isn't software, it's firmware, very different thing.
No It doesn't.. that's write on PC specialist book..
"It can void the warranty only if It Is done incorrectly.. upgrade the BIOS incorrectly can damage the mother board and It could void the warranty.. if u got any doubt contact US."

That's doesn't means
Upgrade BIOS = void warranty

It means
Incorrectly BIOS updated = void warranty

If they think an upgrade of the BIOS could void the warranty they must write BIG and RED on the "Welcome book"

Read the Terms and Conditions...

7.9 We reserve the right to suspend the warranty or refuse service if your Case, Motherboard, CPU or BIOS have been replaced without authorisation.
Any tampering, repair or modification by unauthorised personnel voids the warranty.

The BIOS is really part of the hardware, it's not "just software" at all. You must always check with PCS before flashing the BIOS.

No sry, I didn't read this... :(
I read the Welcome Book and there is write as I said...
So it's for sure void or they can decide it? Everything is right... now PC hasn't problems...

I think it is more that they can void the warranty, probably in the case where it goes wrong and you turn your pc into an inoperable brick. It is always advisable to contact PCS before changing BIOS. Changing the case or motherboard is a major undertaking and will almost certainly void the warranty, as the the chance of something going wrong is high.

Ty... actually my frustration is growing a lot^^ All this for a couple of stupid screws...

If I'll lose the warranty I'll set my soul in peace mode (but I know the guilty of all it isn't only mine)...
Actually, the PC works great without problems...
Ty to all for every tip or help... and sorry for this frustrating situation (I hope you can understand me)...
I wish you all the best!!!

I would qualify that and say that it's NECESSARY to contact PCS before updating the BIOS (or the CPU or case).

PCS are generally pretty reasonable and as long as you've flashed a valid image and done no harm its likely they will let it go.

Thanks for the support also for the moral one!! Let's hope everything goes well, now I just have to wait for PCS's answer 🤞🏻

The more i think about this the more i'm confused as to how it happened, in both my cases (PCS CYCLONE GAMING CASE (Red LED Fans), and CORSAIR iCUE 465X RGB GAMING CASE), the HDD's clip into the trays, which then slide & clip into the HDD bay & once the side panel is in place there's nowhere they can possibly go, so for this to have happened assuming your case is similar, someone screwed up big time when your PC was built

Idk too.. luckly, I did an unboxing with my wife to check everything.. so PCS accepted immeditaly the RMA..
I think, the builder tought the HD's chassy was insert correctly in all the 4 holes.. but only 2 were correctly insert.. maybe It gives a little movement and during the travel It moved to much and It went out from holes.. Who knows😩

Sad to see you have problems with your PC. You didn’t mention anything about this on the Italian forum. It would have been a pleasure for me to help out in Italian, which I guess would have been easier for you :)
