The config I linked comes in under your budget by £100 including the monitor.
But for anything at this level, under about £700 will get you an IPS monitor which will greatly reduce the overall experience.
I would say an OLED is very simply a must with the benefits to HDR, and HDR these days is utterly essential, it's a groundbreaking improvement especially for gaming.
Yeah I was thinking about if I wanted to keep the 4080 and then just wait a month or 2 untill I have enough to get a monitor that suits it

It's the resolution and refresh rate dictates the GPU power required. They're both the same in that regard. The Samsung is more expensive because it's a first gen product, but is a weaker display.
The 4080 Super is arguably overpowered for 3440 x 1440 to be honest which is why I'd reduced it in my suggestion.

That’s a gen one oled, as I’ve said, I wouldn’t recommend them these days, the improvements with qdoled are substantial enough to make gen 1 irrelevant.
Samsung haven’t released their gen 2 panels yet. They’re due for release later in the summer.
If you want a super wide rather than ultra wide, ASUS have a gen 2 panel out which is very good

Check out Gamers Nexus, Hardware Unboxed and the like on YouTube. They all do monitor reviews, produce 'Best Monitor for a price range' lists, comparisons of similar spec monitors, and some do HDR compatibility. Quite often, although the manufacturer claims it's, lets say HDR 400, it isn't really. It'll pass 3 out of 4 HDR 400 standards but not all of them. But the box still claims 'HDR 400 Ready', or something similar.
I'd recommend waiting a month or 2 to get a good monitor. And in the mean time just stick with your present monitor and use the time to research monitors. The YouTube reviewers are a reasonable method. You've got quite a few good pointers from these good folks on what you should be looking for and the kind of price range.
You don't want to rush this kind of spend. Check things out, get the right spec for your needs, from beginning to end. Get it right first time, then you won't have to spend more later on on an upgrade to what you should have got in the first place. But don't go OTT either.
Before you decide, post up your idea, as you have been. You'll be kept straight, as you have been.
Also, bare in mind, nobody in here works for PCS. We're all just PCS customers who enjoy helping other potential customers get the best setup for their budget. Some, like SpyderTracks, are extremely knowledgable. Some, like me, are less knowledgable.
