I have a PC Specialist desktop PC. It keeps booting to BIOS, so I'm fairly sure that the CMOS battery needs replacing. Fine. Except that I can't find it. I see where the battery should be in the motherboard manual (WS Z390) but that doesn't match what I see when I open the PC case.
A diagram in the manual shows the battery on the lower right-hand side of the motherboard. But mine looks quite different in that area. There is a silver square, with Asus written on it in the general area, that doesn't match the diagram in the manual. Maybe that is covering the battery. I'm reluctant to mess with it unless I can get some advice.
Cheers
