I have had my Vortex III for almost 2 years now. It has always been able to run graphics heavy games smoothly such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Battlefield 3, however, in the past couple of months, whilst running these games on medium settings the core temps have been rising to the high 80's/ low 90's and eventually it has been suddenly shutting itself down. No color discoloration/ lines or anything similar to a GPU failure appear. Also, luckily, it does not BSOD. Despite using a powerful cooling pad and regularly cleaning the fans/ insides of any dust this problem still remains.
