I'm looking for a monitor and used to have a few USB2.0 ports on my old monitor. I liked the functionality and wanted to know if new monitors came with USB3.0? My budget is up to £100.
It's possible - I can't think of any OTTOMH but there are a hundred thousand budget level monitors out there.
USB ports tend to be a bit more of a premium feature though. If you're building a monitor to sell at a budget price you're not going to usually have those kinds of bells and whistles.
What are good or at least not rubbish options below £100, please? Is there anything obviously wrong with say this one: Acer V226HQL 21.5" Full HD Monitor? Our budget is under £100 and for general household use, no gaming.
If we're ditching the USB ports idea, then in your position I'd get the cheapest 24" IPS monitor I could find. IPS has more accurate colours (good for photos especially), and has wide viewing angles e.g. if two people are looking at the screen together. And 24" is the sweet spot for 1080p - good for productivity.
One of the cheapest I saw with a very quick search was Philips 243V7QDAB/00.
AOC's budget IPS monitors tend to be pretty good. So there's the AOC 24B1XHS
