Its not a sharp television at all is it?
I had this problem and found it was a cheap HDMI cable.
Theres also possibility there is an i button on your remote if you hit that it should go away also.
Whats the make and model?
Remote? I don't have one, didn't come with one.. and I don't use an HDMI cable, and the make is 24" PowerGlide Extreme.
I don't know for sure, but it might be a driver issue, is anything showing amiss in device manager.Ah, so no one knows then? Seriously ****ing me off. And the buttons on my screen don't work EITHER. I just got this PC BACK after it broke previously, so it's highly frustrating.

Failing that it could be a hardware issue,in which case best give tech support a call.
Nightmare man, they don't comment a lot on these forms as its mainly community based. The best bet is to call them tomorrow.
I've been trying to find a manual for your machine too to see if there is anything i could see that might point to a solution but cant seem to find any documentation anywhere. Thank you have to have bought that machine to get access to the docs.
Lol, manual didn't even come with it. And now a box is displaying called "Luminance" and the Brightness meter keeps going up and down and stuff. Seriously.. no clue.
On its own, that doesn't sound comforting, Sorry theres been no help here man, hopefully PCS will be able to provide you with support tomorrow if you give them a call

That's pretty gutting. Is the machine out of warranty?
I couldn't recommend any one else sorry, even though your experience with PCS has not +ve in your experience i wouldn't trust anyone else with my machine and would still recommend sending it to them.
I think PCS are also the only supplier of that model in the UK so other agency may struggle getting components should they require replacing.
I would suggest sticking with them and hopefully you will get a better turn around.
Sorry i know that wont be the answer your looking for.
