Just been reading about screens and subpixels, and it seems there's an issue with BGR subpixels. At the moment, Google Chrome and Adobe Acrobat hard code their font smoothing to expect RGB subpixels, and so any screen with BGR will look bad.
Does anyone know the details of PCSpecialist laptop screens and the subpixel order?
