Recoil II and Optimus XIIII

Hello,

I'm actually hesitating between three laptops, an MSI GP73 (GTx1060/I7 8gen), an Recoil II(same) and an Optimus XIIII wich are at the same price point in France.
The problem with the recoil II is that on youtube, somes says that the recoil II overheating a lot and on this forum others say that he isn't.
So I would like to know which of the Recoil and Optimus overheats the least.

The Recoil II has generally had very favourable reviews for temperatures. PCS have sent Recoil builds to 4 tech websites: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/ and the reviews of temps have been pretty favourable, moreso than some of the Clevo chassis they sell.

What is your budget (in Euros?).

It has an i7 8750H, 16gb RAM, GTX 1060, 256gb SSD, and 1TB HDD for 1298€. The same spec manually configured would be ~1400€.

You could get a spec with an i5 8300H (most games won't care if you have a 6-core i5 or 6-core i7), 16gb RAM, GTX 1060, 1TB HDD, 256gb SSD for 1154€

I just saw that for 1250 i could get a Proteus V with 1070.
For you in term of perf/temp, wich should i take between those two?

You didn't say you didn't need Windows - sorry, it's hard to give advice on specs without knowing crucial info :)

If you want the proteus and can afford, go ahead.

It's not that i don't need Windows but i will purchase it in OEM version for like 10 box. :)
