Price: 1 753,33 € including VAT and Delivery

There is a huge difference between the UK Price :1753.33 including VAT and " days delivery to France and the French price on the pcspecialist.fr site : 2 110,00 € including VAT and delivery

My main concern is that on UK site price with and without VAT is the same and on French site price before VAT is 1 758,33 € which seems to be slightly the same as the UK price.

So the question is, is VAT really included in the UK site price? If I order it and have it delivered to France would customs apply the french VAT?

Second question, customs costs (not VAT but cost for customs handling) are not to be paid if the product is an english product. The fact that the laptop is put together in UK from non UK parts would make it a UK manufactured product?

Otherwise I don't understand the difference of price between the two sites. If the price is correct I can afford the laptop right now, otherwise I will have to wait until august to get it and my actual laptop is diying

Only PCS would be able to clarify this. Email is probably best, although could take a week as they are very busy. There is a long wait on the phone at the moment.

Doesn't the warranty get bumped up to Gold as standard on the european sites
Good point Martin.
This adds just 81 euros to the price. I don't really care about the warranty as my credit card provides a 5 year warranty on all electronics bought with a "not repairable= replacement to the initial cost" policy
I sent a mail to pcspecialist will wait for their answer

I guess it is just a bug on the website as when ordering with country ireland or even UK selected VAT applies. This is dangerous as if I was to order now, I would have an invoice stating VAT included and sale would be definitive.
Waiting for their answer though

There is a very lengthy thread somewhere about deliveries to Ireland and the fact that the IRISH VAT is applied by PCS as apparently they are VAT registered in Ireland

You better buy from the .fr site anyway, as that's the only way to avoid your package being stopped at customs because you did not pay the required VAT for your country. PCS automatically adds your precise VAT only if you using the localized website.

Unless you like to become hostage of FedEx and Customs for like 2-3 months and pay the differece anyway later in the year. :)

OK a little bit of investigation here for you hopefully shows that there isnt actually that much of a price difference. sorry I couldnt get your figures exactly but here:

When through the UK site, it initially shows with VAT:

As you progress and select France - it removes the UK VAT:

but if you go back into the reconfigure for it - although both prices are the same it states inc VAT price as well as UK tax will be 0 - but this should get clarified as you go through to the purchase screen

and when on the purchasing set of pages you do get told this:

Hope that helps.

You are therefore better off I think paying through the Fr site as it includes Fr VAT and GOLD warranty :D

Thanks a lot, this explains everything!
I appreciate you took the time to investigate this. And yes then it will be better to go with the Fr site :)
Can't wait! My old laptop even though still running starts to have issues with rendering (not due to computer quality but due to the software evolutions that make scenes more heavier even though a lot more realistic :) )

We should be with the same laptop soon (Ionico 17 RTX 3070). They promised stocking the 15th Feb but incurred in delays allegedly due to Chinese New Year so first batch is coming March 3rd.
That should be my date of assembly as they are telling me (you'll receive periodic emails about them, check spam folder if you don't).
I pre-ordered the 27th of Jan. Curious to see in which date you'd be assembled provided it ends un being in the same batch (I do think so) and they have just to follow the queue of past preorders first. Let us know.

I just ordered mine today on the French website. There was no more a mention of the 3rd March (saw it before but no more today) I choose express mount and express delivery and so computer is said to be shipped monday (3 labors days)
I just hope it will not do the tremendous fan noise my old P775DM3(-G) does (this annoyes my wife every single time I game on the couch next to her)

Wow that's weird. I mean anyone who preordered this could NOT select any express shipping due to lack of materials. And now everybody after can and be shipped right before 2 months of queue? Wow..
O-K..

maybe a glitch on the website? As far as the 3th March disponibility was no longer displayed on the product , there was therefore no reason for the system to deny express mount and delivery as this is denied automatically by the avalaible date.
Either they got the batches and of course it would made sense that those in waiting queue would be delivered before those ordering today, or it is a mistake and I will receive an email telling me I will be charged back for express mount,
Edit: I just checked on UK and IT site and as well there is no more any mention of shortage so I guess UK customs finally dispatched the Ionicos to the different sites
