Godlike
Not a bad rig,

Only thing I would recommend is the warranty, amend it to the silver for £5 :)
Also might be worth uprading the cooler to the triple heatpipe instead of stock if your going to be crunching conversions on it. Much butter cooling.

Hope this helps!

Hey thanks lff. You're right, the warranty was an oversight on my part and I've now amended that. As for the cooling, I was on an absolute budget ceiling and I had to cut my cloth somewhere. Pbviously the major components I couldn't scrimp on, and I needed two good monitors and plenty of USB 3.0 connectivity, as well as extra firewire and all of those little extras that I need in my line of work, so unfortunately the extra cooling had to go. It was on my first build, but, ho hum.

PS. lff - changed my mind after some careful forethought and went with the triple heatpipe. Only £14 extra. Thanks for your help.

ps. the second graphics card option wasnt even there
Probably to avoid having your laptop look like it's mutating and growing new appendages ;)

PS. lff - changed my mind after some careful forethought and went with the triple heatpipe. Only £14 extra. Thanks for your help.
Good call on the advice from Picard. I'd also recommend living without the 2nd monitor for as long as it takes you to save up, and upgrade to the 24" model from the go if you've no space issues.

It's definitely worth it :)

Hey kriwad - thanks for the advice, but I need the two monitors straight away. Video / film editing is how I make my money, and 2 x 22" is more than I used to deal with in my old staff job and will be more than sufficient. Cheers anyway though, mate.

Can't believe I am going to have to wait three weeks or so. I am virtually biting my own arms off after one day. Grrrrrrrr!
