New PC for Photographer

Hi there, I'm after a new computer suitable for photo editing using Photoshop and Lightroom and general storing and backing up of raw photo files. An SSD for booting up and running the editing software would be nice also a quick 2TB HDD for file storage.

Any ideas links or spec lists will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Wow that was quick, thanks so much, looks great. Do you think would it be worth spending an xtra few quid on the hyper x fury ram and the next motherboard up for future upgrade potential?

The only thing a new motherboard would add is more PCI-e slots for SLI, which i don't think is really necessary for your intended use.

As for the different RAM, it doesn't really matter to be honest

That’s very helpful thanks, another lost sale.

None of us work for PCS or get any perks in return for talking about their systems. Nobody here can lose a sale from you because we are not offering anything for sale.
It would be very confusing to have system advice for all queries on one giant thread. There's no difficulty in creating a new thread. That's how forums work.
