My pc freezes when idle for hours/after hibernation

Hi.

I recently bought a PCspecialist Tornado R5X.

Ever since I got the computer, it has had some trouble with freezing after hibernation mode. I can log in, the mouse will respond and I can open Chrome, then it freezes.

I changed the settings to let it never sleep, and I thought it worked. But whenever it is idle overnight or couple of hours the same issue appears. It freezes.

I've tried updating all drivers, sfc scan, ran DISM, disk check etc...

Specs:
Windows 11
AMD™ Ryzen™ 5 5600X-prosessor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
16 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD

Might have something to do with fast start up mate, it's a feature that's complete and total garbage whos entire purpose seems to be to cause issues. Don't understand why it's still in Windows

Look up how to disable that and give it a go see if it helps

I would also suggest disabling hibernation.

Just additionally, it's worth registering the PC with PCS, that will activate your warranty and give you access to an online account which includes your full specs which we'll need whenever you post.

I suffered the same issue, freezing after hibernation or idle. Tried many solutions, nothing helped.

I had installed too many free pieces of software, for disk management, cleaners, driver checkers, etc.

Eventually I did a clean install, and only installed what I actually needed. I did this back in June 22, haven't had a freeze since.

I just disabled it, and will let my computer stay idle over night, and see what happens.

Done, and done! :)

Well, so far my only solution has been to hard restart my pc with the physical power on button....

It completely freezes even if I try to hit the Ctrl+Alt+Del....

If you've got bullguard installed as well, best to uninstall it as it's known to cause various issues

I mainly use my pc for games. Have only installed Steam, Chrome, Discord and Epic Games launcher.. And a software from Razer for my headset...

not sure if this is relevant, but i and a few others were having trouble with freezing a month or so back and overcame it by disabling the c-state in the bios, see the linked post below
