I currently have the monitor bellow and use a 1080p screen as a secondary monitor. what would any recommendations be a monitor to go with this build? i prefer having 2 monitors but i could be swayed to a widescreen one if they are recommended cheers :)

Monitor currently:

Those do look tasty. with the first ultrawide you posted, would it be possible to have my current agon monitor used as a 2nd monitor? mostly used for other tasks whilst gaming etc or would that end up being to much?

Cheers

Perfect! will be doing that then I think! One last thing, i opted to go for the Hydro 100x cpu cooler as the 115I platinum one was out of stock. That cooler should be sufficent enough for a Ryzen 9 3900X with those 2 screens?

I'm showing the H100i Platinum and the H115i Platinum in stock. Are you sure you were looking at the correct models? I would definitely opt for one of the newer coolers, they are significantly better than the old ones :)

Oh are they, when I put together the build they were not, I can simply just adjust it as its only in pre-production right?

Also after spending a lot of time over the last few days reading around on this forum i see that its usually recommended to go for 2x16gb ram sticks. What is the benefit of this? If its a fair difference then i will think about just adjusting the build to 2x16GB.

Didn't even notice you had 4x8. Yeah, 2x16 is better. For gaming 2x16 is a waste though, 2x8 would be fine.

I do occasionaly do hd video editing for work so thats mainly what the extra RAM is for. Anyway thanks very much for the advice, it's been great!

H 110/115i RGB Platinum Hydro Series are right at the bottom and should be in stock.

If you're upgrading to the new 3000 cards don't you think it would be a good idea to get something a little less expensive on the GPU side so you've got more money for an upgrade when they come out? :) Looks good though!

well the 2080 TI will sort me for the next few months i already have a 1080ti but budget is NOT a factor in the build. and i will be upgrading for sure when the 3000 series cards come out. It took me ages to settle on the CPU and even though Intel is better fps for gaming, having multiple screens or running many tabs and programs with very high 'minimum' fps on the ryzen it was well worth getting the 3900X over the i9-10900k. the only regret is that i cant use a 115i cooler with this great case! that is the only thing i would change!

haha I havent even started to thing about who to give my 1080TI yet xD. but i will keep you in mind! also off the bat, when the new cards come out you think a 2ndhand 2080TI will still be able to gofor a good price? i feel that they will still be priced high as the new cards come out

The new card will still be an expensive card, look at the 1080Ti's pricing with the 2000 series at the moment :)

thats true. atleast with the build i have the cpu is much better than the gpu so when the 3000 card come out it will be a pump lord. when it comes to my pc I wont hold back with budget xD Also keith. i already stated cant go for 115i unless i change the rgb ram, recommend going for 3000mhz ram not RGB over the RGB pro 3200MHZ and going fro the 115i? i have to downgrade the ram for the cooler if thats the case

i cant go for the 3600mhz there is not the option. the 32gb is in stock with RGB pro. but if i go for the corsaid vengence normal ram that is 3000mhz instead of 3200mhz i can get the 115i. its for editing and gaming. will have multiple screens open. 4 of them so the ryzen9 is perfect for that
