Will my new laptop come with an instruction manual?

I got a welcome booklet with my PC, showing FAQ's and general stuff about Windows 7 i believe. I assume it's the same with Laptops

When my friend bought one from PCS about 2 years ago we had the devils own job sorting which hot key did what, however, I think he got a manual on CD.
