Sorry, text is in German. As product names are mostly the same I hope it's not a problem.

I'm planning on buying a pc, I thought about building one, but prebuild systems are just cheaper atm.

My plan with this config was to create a powerful pc which is upgradable in the future and provides good airflow as well as low noise.

Do you think this build can achieve that or is the cooling maybe not sufficient enough. I also wanted to replace the case fans with corsair ones so I can control them all at once but the build system isn't letting me do that. So I'll just leave it like this and change the fans myself.

Regarding noise, I want something that is way below 40 dB at idle, as I would keep this pc on my desk. I had the new Asus g14 for a week and the fan noise drove me absolutely mad.

Hey man, could you include the reconfigurable link?

What monitor will you be using? Make / model or resolution / refresh rate please. Also, what will you be using the PC for?

There are some things that can be changed here to make it better. What is your maximum budget?

Thanks :)

This one?

Well like 2.5 to be honest. I don't want to spend too much as in a year or so when gpu shortages will have been resolved the machine will lose like 30 percent of its value immediately.

I currently have the acer predator xb241h. 144hz gsync 1080p.

But I will upgrade to an ultra wide 3440x1440p 144hz in a few months and I want a computer that can run all games properly on that screen size

I've made some edits to your build.

I changed up your case. No need for the 5900X, so I changed it to the 5800X with the TUF X570 motherboard. Changed up your storage as well, putting 1TB mechanical hard drive for general files, 500GB ultra fast M.2 Samsung SSD for your OS and apps and 1TB PCS M.2 SSD for your games. Upped your PSU to the 850RMx and changed your cooler as well to the H115I Elite Capellix. Also added another black case fan since the case only comes with 2 included fans. That means you will have 2 already installed fans in the case, 2 that come with the cooler and 2 extra black fans, so you have in total 6 :)

Thanks! But I really don't need any more storage than a 1tb m.2 ssd and prefer the faster storage for everything.
Regarding the aio, wouldn't the device be louder with the smaller aio?
And why the higher wattage power supply? Isn't 750watt already too much for a 3070.

750W is the recommended minimum for a 3070, but 850W would be recommended by us. The more headroom you have on the PSU, the less hard it has to work, leads to better stability, room for upgrades and better longevity. Plus when it comes to a GPU upgrade (which will be the first bottleneck in any correctly configured system), you want the freedom to put in any GPU you like. Believe me, you're requirements will change over the time you own that PC, they always do.

If it were me speccing today, I would go 1000W minimum to cover me for the lifespan of the PC.

PSU is your 1st need for upgradability and the bigger the PSU, less it has to work. It all translates in PSU lasting longer. In that case feel free to remove the extra drives in my configuration and just keep 1TB Samsung SSD. Although if you don't have other storage, you'll run out easily. You'll have a lower price.

Well I can buy a second m. 2 for less money online and put it in :D

Also I might not order with pcz after all, the configurataor is kinda not making sense.
The front panel of the 4000d can host a 360 rad and its possible to add 2 more fans on top and one at the back. Configurater is telling me though that I can't add a 360rad and 3 corsair Fans which doesn't make sense I think.. Afraid they'll place the fans and rads all wrong if they don't know how many fans it can actually host..

If you’re confident adding parts in yourself it’s definitely an option, unlike some other competitors PCS have an open case policy so you can add and change out components without invalidating the warranty provided you don’t damage anything. If you know what you’re doing adding another m.2 drive is definitely something you could do.
Not sure what you’re confused about RE fans? The 360mm rad will take up the front 3 fan slots leaving 3 120mm slots remaining. The 4000D comes with 2 fans so you only have room for 1 more fan. There have been cases on this forum where people have added 3 Corsair fans after ordering but that is not something the configurator is equipped to handle; it will not let you order 3 more fans when it only has room for 1 more fan.

Ahh okay then that's the problem. I wanted to replace the stock fans with corsair ll ones. Then I'll do that myself as well. Just need to check which of the motherboards supports the USB c ports on the case and has enough argb headers to add the additional corsair fans. Thanks!
Kinda sad that I can't replace the stock fans. Don't want to cable manage the three corsair fans myself 😂

Bigfoot

Grand Master
You may be able to phone up PCS and get them to replace the stock fans with LL120s. The configuration can’t cope with all possible combinations.
