I have at home desktop purchased couple years ago (without Thunderbolt port), company provided HP laptop and received HP Thunderbolt docking station from my employer. However, my desktop does not have Thunderbolt port and I am unable to connect it, when I connect it via USB port Windows does not recognise the docking station.
Previously I had USB docking station which worked fine, however, I am provided work equipment from my employer and it is not compatible with other devices.
Does anybody has any advise what I would need to do to use HP Thunderbolt Docking Station with my desktop?
Edit: When I do connect the docking station via USB port, the system recognises the docking station in the connected devices, however, it states it may not work properly.
