Hi there. I'm looking to get 2 new gaming pcs, one for me and one for my husband and am in need of some advice. We both are housebound so spent much (or all) of our time online.
We both have the same current monitor: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07VTPKCLS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 (ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ, 2560x1440, 165hz). I'm not averse to 4k but I've not really seen anything to suggest the difference for us would be worth it. However, I'd like our builds to be compatible with 4k if possible.
We both play Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft (Retail and Classic) and Final Fantasy XIV, usually while on Discord. Ideally we want to play on max settings with the fastest possible load times.
He plays lots of games that he downloads from Steam (Stellaris, Crusader Kings 3, Rimworld and MANY more) and needs lots of storage for them and his mods/workshop stuff. He also wants to be able to play new stuff like GTA6 and BeamNG.drive. He's a multitasker/easily distracted person and likes to hop around between games, music, manga, anime and general surfing....he currently has 57 tabs open in Chrome!
I tend to just listen to music, watch netflix and watch all the cute cat videos my sister sends.
We have 5 cats who all love to try and sit on top of our pcs, so having fans on the top of the case is a recipe for disaster but I can't figure out which case would be best. Neither of us care about lights or cosmetic stuff.
Our budget is £10,000 for both pcs. My husband says he wants/needs 64gb RAM, what option would you go for if I were to switch from 32 for his build?
My current idea for both pcs is as follows:

CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE
