G-sync not exist , and CPU doesn't boost up under load ( low CPU core icc max )

This issues have found out of box ( brand new item )

Screenshot (14).png

You can see on the picture above CPU core icc max only 10A ( default setup ) . This is unusual because 35W CPU's ( T and U series ) has least 66A core icc max so 10A for desktop grade CPU far too low ! ( see the result below )

Screenshot (13).png

Turbo boost power only 11W ( post to be 128W for 28 sec , and after that goes down to 65W ) and becuse of that the CPU not able to boost up higher clock speed . Took few hours figure this out .

Solution I have found :

Rise manually CPU core icc max

This is the result :

I wasn't able to found any solution fix the G-sync problem ( simply not exist in the nVidia control panel )

I did contacted the technical support , I'm waiting for they get back to me . Probably BIOS update will fix this problem , if not RMA .

After manual setup my Octane VI. ( i7 9700 , rtx 2080 ) works perfectly well but it should does it out of the box ( I love it ... )

Without knowing:

Your full specs?

Have you applied an undervolt/underclock, if so, what?

It’s impossible to give any feedback.

Full spec :

Intel i7 9700
16GB Ram ( 2x 8GB )
256GB Samsung SSD
1TB Samsung SSD
nVidia rtx 2080 + Full HD 144hz g-sync screen

Win10 Pro

I did applied offset ( -0.100 ) after I have to rise CPU core icc max for get temp under control . CPU is locked ( non K version) so impossible play with the multiplayer or the cpu core parking frequency so under clocking not an option .

So you ordered without windows?

Did you then just license the installed windows and expect it to work normally or did you fully reinstall an up to date image?

I have installed my own windows and everything up to date but those problems been there before I installed my own ! I used all drivers provided by PCS . This problems are not coused by the operation system . More likely motherboard , because g-sync and EC failer pointing to the motherboard . That's why I contacted technical support for bios update ( motherboard bios version from this year April , 2 newer version available for my motherboard )

Yes I'm using conrol center and I did checked everything ... I used performance mode , and I did setup everything in advanced power options as well .
Before I setup core icc max manually the laptop was performed better from battery power than plugged into the wall !

I made this stress test few min. ago .... as u can see everything works fine after manual setup ! Just so annoying I can't found out what exactly cause this problem ... of course g-sync another story but I'm sure both problem related to motherboard failure
