Connecting power cables to a HDD & SSD. [Resolved]

Hi.

I have a Corsair 550W TXm Series PSU.
The lead I refer to looks like the 2 at the bottom left in this image: https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/cp-9020177-ar-rm550x_cables.png. -- the power lead with type 4 on it. It has 2 other connectors for drives. Can I connect 1 power lead to the PSU and connect the other 2 connectors to my HDD & SSD? Or should I use two separate power cables for each drive?

There's three sockets with 6 slots each on the PSU. Does it matter with sockets I use?

yes you can, you can connect as many drives etc as there are connectors
