Any thoughts on this AMD build?

As well as this I was thinking of getting the DELL S2716DG 27 inch 1440p monitor. Let me know what you think!

We love you Ukraine
Yeah pretty much and maybe a little bit of general browsing and viewing videos maybe but mainly gaming
Yeah, it's perfect then, just the memory speeds.

That CPU is like the ultimate for gaming. It's a very capable CPU.
Being on the new X570 platform has a few added benefits like really fast M2 ssds, which aren't really available just yet, but in a year or two you could pick one up as an upgrade to your OS drive. They're set to be almost double the current speeds.

It's a lovely build, should do you proud.

I'm not entirely sure I would up the RAM to 3600MHz for £50.

I definitely wouldn't buy a 3600x over a 3600 for £40

For an R5 3600 + upgrade to x (£40) plus upgrade tp 3600MHz RAM (£50) plus H100x cooler (£85), by that stage I'd be looking at the i7 9700k. Or saving ~£150 and sticking to more bang for buck options with the R5 & co.

Wireless Router/HomePlugs
HomePlug 500 Mbps Starter Kit - Internet Through Powerline
Beware of these.

I'm not sure the exact models PCS use, but often when they say "500mbps" what they mean is "100mbps". The ports are often fast ethernet (100mbps) rather than gigabit ethernet. Kits that say 200mbps are referring to the two units. Ones that say 500mbps I think refer to the fact they support upto 5 units in a set. Or something. But each unit is still only capable of 100mbps because that's all the socket gives you.

So if I change the 3600x to the 3600 and look for an different wired ethernet solution? Would you be able to recommend any alternatives?

I pretty much built the same system as you with a different case. CPU, GPU, Mobo, PSU, Cooler, NVME SSD were all the same.
Now where i made different choices was
First, the monitor. I went with Dell S2417DG. It's basically the twin of S2716DG, only a bit smaller. But hey it was €110 cheaper and I was already coming up from a 15.6 inch laptop so it was already a big change.
Second, I didn't order a windows license. My windows 7 key from the sticker on the underside of the laptop activated just fine, color me surprised. I honestly didn't expect that. So if you have a laptop that came with windows 7 or windows 8 laying around, just take off that windows 10 license for now.
If everything goes right you'll save €100, if not windows 10 will be on trial version for 90 days, so you can still buy a legit key and activate it later
