Are you sure you need the i7? if its a PC for gaming the i5 is perfectly adequate. If you did this and got rid of the SSD, you will be able to put a high end graphics card in and get a better case. Games are most reliant on the graphics card so I'd put as much of your budget into this. The SSD will boot into windows and load programs quicker but in game performance won't be improved. Its something which can be easily added at a later date also.

It's for playing games and recording videos from a capture card. Post what spec you would go for.

Same as above. If you were thinking of overclocking your CPU you would need a better CPU cooler. As krupssy mentioned I would also suggest putting more emphasis in the gpu and getting a better case.

Price: £925.00 including VAT and delivery. - I think yours was just over 900, just getting rid of the cooler would bring it down to your price.

The case looks perfect. Someone at College said to me that the 660 would be perfect for me. The only games I play are Abe's Oddysee and later on this year there will be a new HD remake called Abe's Oddysee new 'n' Tasty.

In that case you could lower the gfx card to the 660ti and the Power Supply to the Corsair 650W. It still gives you the SLI option on the card but will save you £100~. Whether you use this money saved for an SSD is up to you but its not worth you going for the i7, you won't see the benefit for the cost outlay.

lol, you really want that i7 :)

Enjoy the PC.

EDIT: Or do you mean you didnt bother with the i7?, i read it one way now im doubting myself...thats the thing with reading text, context is easily lost, well to me it is anyway...

The fact remains, whatever its incarnation, enjoy the PC :)
