Instead of rtx 3060 I want to get a 6700xt. However, when I am choosing the rx it says that the card is 31 cm long and case can only fit 30cm. I have checked on internet and people successfully fit that card into the case, besides the cards lenght is less than 30 cm.

I will be using it for mostly 1080p video editing, sometimes 4k, also a good bit of gaming. My screen resolution is 2560x1080p

Can you let me know what your max budget is? There are quite a number of things I would change, previous gen CPU with a previous gen motherboard, then a CPU cooler that we wouldn't recommend.

We can help get you more bang for your cash and have a better balanced build to help with longevity

I can squeeze my budget to around €2200, but would prefer something below.
I am still rocking i7 6700K! 6 years old, but works really, really well.

Just realised you've selected a micro case? is there a reason for this as it severely limits the build options and will hamstring you in terms of power and longevity?

Yes, I actually wanted a laptop. I need something small because I am moving a lot. Since desktop is more powerful I thought I´d go with that.
Is it a big issue?

Yeah you're essentially taking all the good things about a laptop and throwing them away to make a desktop. Then you're taking all the good things about a desktop and throwing them away because of the small form factor

It's kind of like the worst of both worlds to be honest

I guess you are right, I should decide on either a laptop or a desktop. No in-between.

Could you suggest a nice, normal desktop build that in your opinion would be the best for similar price?

@Steveyg have you gone for the Dual card for a reason? I don't think it offers much over the standard 2060, and you could then upgrade to a 980 SSD...
