Adding a GPU to an existing desktop build?

I configured a desktop system from PC Specialist a couple of years ago just for normal day to day use and it has been perfect. I am now, however, planning on buying the new MS Flight Simulator 2020 whenever it is released, so I think I will need to add a GPU to my system, as at present I do not play any games on it so just use the integrated graphics card.

Is it really just a case of opening up the side of the case and attaching a GPU to the motherboard (and having one of those anti-static bands on)?

For reference, the relevant parts of my current system are as follows, so it would be very helpful if anyone could confirm that it is indeed possible to add a new card to this, and also any suggestions an actual GPU to buy:

Many thanks, Scott.

I was looking at the GTX 1650 Super as a possible option - I did check on a PSU calculator and this seems to be okay even with my 450W power source, so I will probably go that route unless anyone thinks this is a terrible idea?

Na you will be fine. I would probably consider it with the 2060 upwards, but for the 1650 Super you will be fine :)
