The only diffrence compared to the last PC is that I will have to go for cheaper speakers.

Now, Im a complete PC novice and I want to know if I have to do anything on my part with the overclocking. I dont intend to push my cpu to the limit, I just want that extra speed for better performance.

Also is the warrenty diffrent for OC'd PC's????

Don't forget you may have to do some adjustments after a while if it becomes unstable but you would have to phone support for that.

You will know it's unstable when it crashes pretty often ;)

I stay away from overclocking myself too much messing about for my liking and a while is erm.... anytime

I know that theres programs that tell the temp of your cpu and if its stable or not.

If it does become unstable, can I not just go into the BIOS and reset to normal clock speed?

To be honest it is a bit early to be discussing overclocking etc if your not intending to purchase a system for 6months.

A lot can change in that time including new better processors and other components. Your pricing at the moment may be much lower in 6months with the same parts. And overclocking may be different or better by then as well.
It is probably best to start looking at specs weeks before you intend to buy not months so you can get better results from your build and advice
