Uses - I've decided to move from Mac to Windows so I'm replacing my 'family' Mac mini. I'll be doing home office stuff on it, data analysis, some photo/family video editing. I'll be gaming but so far I play undemanding games like Rimworld and Oxygen Not Included, because my Mac wouldn't cope with anything else so I have in the past used the PS4 for things like Fallout 4, Skyrim, Elden Ring etc. Would be happy to move my gaming to the PC if my build supports it, and do more gaming! The kids are nagging me to join them playing Fortnite.
Budget - Would love to hit £1k to £1.5k and not go beyond (particularly if I need a new monitor), due to the fact that paying for the kids' gaming machines has left me with less cash for my own machine!
Monitor - It's a Dell 52719h from 2018, I could upgrade it I guess.
