New PC is finaly working

After hosts of problems from non connected USB's, collapsed hard drives, slight case damage and virtualy no custommer support on a £4,600+ machine i am happy everything is now working.
Shes fast which is great for both my music productions and games.

Glad its up and running.

Just had a quick re-read through your posts.

Although it is a shame whoever you spoke to at the call centre did not complete the requested call back. I would hardly say that qualifies the statements that we do not care and offer virtually no customer service.

If a machine arrives damaged through transit it is a shame, but it does happen. Simply requesting the machine be brought back and rebuilt would have resulted in exactly that.

Hi Gorman, the second customer service stated: If i send the PC back, i am not insured, so any damages caused would be my fault, so its a catch 22 situation, send it back, risk more problems, or just bite my lip, use google and fix it myself...
To be honest with you mate, i went through 3 customer support reps during the problems and felt i was being rubbed off each time, i am happy with my pc, but i will not sugar coat the lack of care i was given, i wander why did i bother put a 3 year parts / warranty as its useless.
This has been a learning curve for me, hell i got to go under the hood of a pc, learn how to connect front USBs / SD Reader, re attach 2 of 3 hard drives, re connect the bays, connect the hard drives, but one valuable lesson was, never shop for anything far from home.
I am very disappointed but i believe the problem is PC Specialist has grown outside its own capacity to cope....

All returns are insured if they are sent in the original packaging and replacement packaging can be provided. So im not sure what that is about.

If you feel that a call centre member has not taken the issue seriously then please pm me their details and i will see it is brought to the attention of their manager.

Ah right, i was never offered a replacement packaging, i told the guy on the phone that i could not use the original, it was then he told me about the insurance etc.

well glad you got your usb(s) working now made me spent time posting on your other thread, kinda felt OTT after finding an image for your usb lol

you should be able to be provided a replacement packaging like Gorman said, it even says it on the welcome booklet

Thanks guys, besides from a little cut/dent on the top of the case, i think its all good now...
My only problem now is Steam, dam there slow downloads on 6gig games lol

Tell me about it, when I got my PC my steam backup did not work (Stupid external drives!) So I spent the best part of 10days at a constant 24/7 download of 1.3MB\s ..

Now I just need to stop buying games form steam sales and having to download them as well!
