Just set up the computer and switched it on. The monitor reads "No signal" yet it is plugged in and the VGA cable is connected. Not sure what the problem is.
There's a (black) spare connector which looks like the sort you get with speakers, it came with the monitor. No idea what to do with it.

Monitor: HKC 2219A

Any ideas

Never mind. This was fixed by moving the VGA connector to the port marked "CRT" rather than the one with a matching symbol. :)

Hi Wyatt!

I see you have ASUS® P7H55-M SI which comes with on board graphics and a seperate 5770 dedicated graphics card.

Please ensure that the monitor is plugged into the dedicated graphics card and not the one situated on the mainboard.

EDIT:

DAMNIT!! beat me to it!

I would post something about slowness again ;) But I can't find the ban button that I knicked off you the other day, so I won't risk it ;)
