Looking to upgrade

Hello all!

I bought a PC from PCSpecialist around 4/5 years ago, loved it, been a loyal servant to me but just looking to upgrade now as i can, budget is ideally somewhere between 2k-2.5k, just looking for an upgrade on the below, been looking at the Quantum Master (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/view/Quantum-Master/) on the main website but just looking to see if there was a few tweaks people think that would be good? Would like to maybe add an additional bit of storage and just needs to ensure it has WIFI, whether that is added or through the selected motherboard (Think majority come with?) Usual games i play at WoW/CoD/Escape from Tarkov, usual MMO/Shooters/RTS games etc. Below is my current build, my monitor is a dual setup, first monitor is the main one and second one is just a basic AOC one for Netflix etc, main monitor is a MSI Optix MAG272CQR, which, depending on the price of the setup, looking to possibly upgrade also.

High end 1440p build with RGB bling below. Ideal if you're not after ray tracing or VR gaming. Below will do OK with Ray Tracing but the equivalent 4070 Ti Super would do a little better. Far better value with the AMD XT though.

Zero corners cut at all in the below. Fair few luxuries including RGB that can be stripped back if you wanted to save money.

Hi Scott,

Brilliant, many thanks for the reply, would you recommend the AMD processor and GPU over the equivalent price Intel/nVidia items? Haven't really done my homework on the AMD GPU's, always leaned towards nVidia.

Absolutely with regards to the CPU. Intel are best avoided just now, and have been in recent years (especially since the introduction of the 5800X3D)

On the GPU front, it's not quite so straight forward.

AMD offer the best value, FPS per £ in relation to rasterization.
Nvidia offer the best performance in Ray Tracing
AMD give far more vRAM per £, it's becoming more and more important
Nvidia win VR performance hands down, AMD just can't seem to get the swing on it.

Everything comes down to budget. The XT above will go toe to toe with the Ti Super, sometimes besting it, but the down side is RayTracing & VR. The up-side is the vRAM and value.

Scott, you're a gentleman! Thank you, might try swapping to the 4070 Ti Super, looks like AMD are definitely still the way to go for CPU just like last time then, would it be a huge boost in power swapping the 7800X3D to the 7900X3D or even the 7950X3D?

The Ryzen 9 parts would be good for rendering videos or running large language models. For running games would actually be worse.
