Laptop build help please

Im not really good at this sort of thing as Im not very knowledgeable and barely understand how this works so I would really appreciate some hell please.

Im trying to get a laptop to use at home for everyday use. Would mostly be used for like an at home office to do budgeting and storing pictures etc. Also want to have microsoft to use for documents etc.

Would the below build be good for that?

It's safe to say that you won't get great value from a custom-built laptop of this type. But here's one that costs about the same and is lightyears ahead in performance. The one you have is frankly awful: it would have been bad five years ago when that CPU was new, and today it's best left in a pile of mouldering e-waste.
