Genesis Mic Problem

Hi

I have just received a new Genesis II based laptop and I cannot find the in-built microphoe I cannot get it work either on Windows Live Messenger. Where is it located and how can I make it work?

Please, can anyone look at this? I just need to know if I need to buy a microphone for my new Genesis II based laptop (e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002ZH6S0W/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A1NDK2BO8FUWL4) or if there is one already built inside the laptop.

The laptop has an inbuilt microphone, this should be selectable through the recording devices options. If you are having trouble with this please call us on 0844 499 4000
