Could anyone help spec me a desktop pc for gaming

Hey everyone this is my first post so please go easy :)
I'm an avid gamer who loves my shooter games, and I am really thinking of moving over from my ps5 to pc...
With a budget of 2500 could anyone help me come up with a pc that fits my budget. This would have to include a monitor and keyboard and mouse. But these items would probably be upgraded in the future so I don't want these to define the build, iff you get me.
I'm really looking for the best bang for buck pc I can get to play games such as call of duty warzone etc. I would like the pc to have good graphics capabilities, possibilities of good fps rates and be possible to upgrade in the future when the time would come.
I have been looking at the prebuilt pcs and that may be the best route for me to go down, but seeing as there's also a forum here then I thought the least I could do is ask :)
Thanks for any help or advice that people can give.
Cheers guys and gals
F :)

If you can't tell I am not massivley tech savvy. I just love my games, so trying to spec my own pc is a bit ambitious..
Any help opinions or advice would be amazing :)
Thanks
F

That's a fantastic budget, but it puts you in a little bit of a pickle unfortunately. I'll put together 2 specs for you, one inside budget and one will be outside (but I'll give reasons).

High end 1440p gaming rig below. This has all the stuff I would personally like to have in a build to sustain years of upgrades and use. Top end gaming CPU and on the platform that has a future. It's filled with win.

@sck451 highlighted this bargain monitor in another thread as well, for £230 which is great for an IPS display:

£200-£350 will get you a great 1440p monitor to pair with the below.

The quandary is, that if you spend a little more on the GPU, you can actually open the door to a widescreen build.

The monitor to match with this would be £400:

Which would take you a bit over budget. If you could save the extra I think it would genuinely be worthwhile.

What a brilliant reply, thanks I really appreciate you taking the time to spec them out and also explaining the reasoning for the 2 different options.
I' think I will probably look more into the second option and also the 1440 monitor, we have a scheme through work where we can buy from curry's and pay monthly so that actually may be a option :)
Again thanks so much for the advice 🙏
It's a bit daunting looking at pc's when all I actually know is what games I want to play, and not what i need to play them.😄
your advice/reply is exactly what I was looking for, thanks again 👍
