Hi all,

I originally had my computer in our room and it was working perfectly fine 2 days ago, we have had builders in and i've moved it into my brother in laws room and attempted to connect to his 2 screens/mouse/keyboard and it wouldn't switch on followed by 4 beeps/1 beep and then nothing.

Does anyone know what may be causing this?
Should i move it back into my room and attempt to start it up with the original connections

IIRC 4 short beeps means a system timer error, which usually means a RAM or motherboard issue.

I'd try removing and reseating the RAM first.

The next step would normally have been to use a single stick to check if the other had failed, but there is only one stick in your build.

Totally depends on the beep sequence, without knowing the exact sequence we could only guess.

There would normally be a single post beep, then followed by a sequence of long / short, if this was a single post beep followed by 3 beeps, that would be an entirely different error code to 4 beeps where it's failing post.

You've moved it so something has come adrift inside. The heaviest item is the graphics card so pop that out and back in. Then check the M.2 drive, remove it and reseat it firmly. Check other PCIe cards (like the AX200). Also pop the RAM cards and reset those. Check all power cables - at both ends - to ensure they are all fully home.
