Bios Flash Advice

Hi

I am planning to upgrade my board's bio (asus pz877 pro) from 1616 to the latest release which came out a few days ago - bios 1708.


I have a couple of questions:

a) has anyone installed the new bios?

b) is it possible to flash the board back to an earlier version, if new bios creates Issues?

P.s. it is vey frustrating that Asus is so uncommunicative when it comes to bios release notes - beyond saying that it 'improves system stability.'

If you dont have any issues & it does not seem to add any new features that you want to use i would say not to bother installing it - it is possible to "brick" the system if something goes wrong when updating the bios
