I moved the fan curve to hit 100% at 85C and it's much quieter. Yes I could physically move the PC, but not sure how rubbish that will look. I will give it a try though.
> It gets steeper above 80C, but shouldn't ever get to that point, and hasn't to date.
Give Elden Ring a go - that will...
All three fan settings (L&R, Mid and Ex) are all set like this to hit 100% at 65C. When monitoring Elden Ring in the open world, with the settings on Maximum except for FSAA & Motion Blur turned off, I am seeing about 65C with the fans at 2900RPM.
Oh and here is the PC and desk:v

Yes it's been "dispatched", however it's not been picked-up by DPD yet, but is set to deliver tomorrow before 2PM. There was a pretty quick reaction to me adding the Saturday delivery sub-order.
Mine hit a problem in testing so has taken a few extra days to hit Await Dispatch. I asked what the problem was and they just told me it was crashing. I think this is better service than most PC builders who wouldn't bother soak-testing the rig before dispatching it. Just hoping I can upgrade...
Ah Houdini... fantastic piece of software! Are you a technical artist? Game dev?
Anyway I am no PC building expert but you don't need a 1000W power supply with that GPU, so you might shave a bit off by lowering that to 650w or some such.
Also I am going Ryzen 5900x which might be better...
I ordered my PC on the 29th of October and it took two weeks before it was built. It went into Awaiting Dispatch early Friday morning and it's still in Awaiting Dispatch. What is going on with this company?
I understand it takes time to build and there can be stock shortages, but what...
