no, no Nord connection, I've rebooted my modem mode VM superhub 4 and am going to wait to see if it reoccurs, if it does I'll include event viewer stuff and see if that brings anything up.
Odd how it just appeared out of nowhere like that.
Just started doing this today, really annoying no idea why. Luckily my PC has a wifi module too although that takes a while to activate.
So normal working on the PC then connectivity goes, shortly afterwards the ethernet icon in task bar goes and is replaced with the globe icon. I can connect...
I'm quite disappointed with this, I got a Cappelix specifically to upgrade in the future, but I'm seeing many many cases where they have the icon of death. I'll pass until they do something definitive to fix it.
I'm not sure if there's a problem with PCs or if it's me, my account messaging says this:
We are currently upgrading technical support from within your account, all current messages will be available until 31/03/22.
So I don't know if my message even got through.
Yes, I guess in the never ending quest for MOAR RGB those fans were not worthy :)
I've contacted PCS in any case.
If it had been like my Commander that came with the Capellix it would have been a non issue as those can cope with mix n match fans, but the RGB Hub is the bargain basement end...
I thought they'd be at least 4 LED but the RGB Hub seems to treat them as 1 LED in the pictogram (and they work) whereas if you pick any other type from the list they don't) the name too checks out.
SP120 RGB LED High Performance 120mm Fan
Shame they don't seem to exist anywhere though. I...
Way back in Dec 2020 I ordered a PC for my daughter, this had the CORSAIR CRYSTAL SERIES 570X RGB GAMING CASE that comes with some sort of SP 120 RGB fan.
I've now hooked up a lighting node pro and disconnected the 3 front fans from it and connected them to the 6 port RGB Hub instead so we can...
I can't get to the volume control, it's on a shelf, in a corner, behind the PC, and it's RH control so I can't even switch it to left where I could get to it.
I also don't want to be endlessly fiddling with a control because of a poor implementation of a stupid EU measure.
Yes it doesn't work, I don't mess with the volume settings on either speaker or PC very much and I'm certainly not going to turn the speaker knob up or down every 10 minutes to turn it back on, not least because I'd have to move the PC to get to it and frankly I don't feel like I should have to...
I've tried numerous solutions.
Budget? lets say up to £100 (with a bit of flex) , similar footprint and sound quality to the Creative is essential though, I don't have a lot of space on my desk.
Ok
I'm currently using a set of Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II 2.0 Multimedia Speakers which I got in Circa 2014 (with my first PCS order)
They're still running fine and I'm very happy except for...
The fricking EU mandated power save feature that you can't turn off, which means after 10...
My own GFX card's fans don't spin up at all until circa 50 degrees, you could get software from whoever made it, and attempt to run them manually, or just run Heaven or some other intensive benchmark to see if they work, but modern cards don't spin up until they need to.
After a bit of a false start (I somehow manged to order a small PCIE Bracket) so it wasn't long enough...
My silver full length PCIE Bracket cover came, so once I'd sprayed it matt black I was able to proceed...
I ran the HDMI & Micro USB along the motherboard side of the case and out through...
I'm using win 11 with absolutely no issues except some video editing software doesn't seem to be compatible yet.
I simply installed winallback to make the task bar and start menu 'normal' and all is really good.
