That's the one. Hi-Fi Rush is probably one of the best Xbox exclusive games that Microsoft have released in a good few years, but I feel like the decision to shadowdrop it without any kind of marketing meant it didn't sell as well as it could have. Poor sales figures which then led to Tango...
Some months, I feel like I really do spoil you lot. May 2024 is one of those!
This month's Humble Choice games are:
As displayed above, I've claimed 5 of the 8 games, so I'm offering three new games this month, which are:
- Hi-Fi RUSH
- King of the Castle
- Yakuza: Like A Dragon
As I said over in the giveaway thread, there's a lot of puzzle games on Steam, and while I was aware there would be a lot of games closer to The Room than what I'd suggested, I didn't fancy hunting for them in the early hours of the morning, so shared Boxes as a game on my radar. You've...
For all of Cat Quest's cutesy graphics, there's a surprising amount of depth to it. It's a fun time and Cat Quest 2's reviews suggest it's more of the same, but I've not got around to playing it yet. I've got Cat Quest 3 on the wishlist!
Supergiant have 4 fantastic games in their back...
I loved the hell out of Hades, although I was really bad at the game, and so I was hopeful when the sequel was announced. It launched on Steam into Early Access yesterday and the early reviews suggest that Supergiant games have done it again!

Was pretty busy this Bank Holiday weekend, so saw this, but didn't get a chance to respond to it mate.
There's plenty of different types of puzzle games on Steam, so I'll have a dig around my list to see what I've got and then I'll add a few recommendations that aren't on my list to give you...
I normally start between 8 and 8:30, so this is going to feel weird, but I guess probably not a total shock to the system. I'm on medication that I have to take an hour before I eat, so I'm often awake around 7 so I can have breakfast before I start work. I guess I can have that medication at...
No. It happens every so often, so I figured I'd get up now, start work early (7am is the earliest I'm able to log on), finish early and have a nap then.
Spotify and answering Martin's request for more puzzle games over in the giveaway thread should keep me busy for a bit!
I noticed that a PSN account is needed to access Ghost of Tsushima's multiplayer content, but as a single player only gamer, I'll still be boycotting PSN and will never play that side of GoT
The comments in the thread point out additional breaches not in the collated list - it really is crazy just how often the breaches are. And those are just the breaches, there's also been many successful DDOS attacks and similar on PSN.
Every Christmas for a few years now, PSN has been taken down by hackers across part of Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day. It's ridiculous how often the hacks happen. I would hope that customer data remains secure throughout these hacks, but who even knows. Having bought most of the Sony PC...
Helldivers 2 has been an incredibly successful Playstation port to PC so far, but a new patch for the Steam version of the game requires PC players to have a PSN account in order to even access the game. The reaction has not been great:
It is a multiplayer game and the patch is apparently to...
The gap between the bottom handful of teams in the Premier League and the top handful of teams in the Championship is relatively small (which is why you tend to see the same teams being promoted/relegated on a regular basis), but the gap between the bottom of the Premier League and the top is...
One of the most wishlisted games on Steam releases in Early Access today.
I've had Manor Lords on my wishlist for a while, as it gives me similar vibes to the classic Sierra city builders (Pharaoh, Caesar, etc) and I'm curious to see how the EA period goes. So far so decent by early reviews...
