Thanks for the replies. It looks like the photos that were showing on there were actually stored on Onedrive so what I was actually doing was deleting them from there and downloading them to the PC. The download speed on my WiFi was really slow and that was the reason for the slow time...

Also, more than half the volume of the 2TB storage drive is being used to store 'burning test test files". I have no idea what these are or what they are for. Any ideas on that as well?

Haha, yes. I had considered the external drive. I think the only reason I had for having it inbuilt is knowing exactly where it is when I need to find it and not having to wonder where my wife put it during her latest reorganisation. 😀

Frustratingly when I go to my saved quote the case has been removed. To compound things there doesn't seem to be a suitable case. Most don't have option for the DVD drive and some have other issues. ☹️
