I value a silent PC the vast majority of the time . I have replaced the Fractal 7 case fans with Noctua models the temps under normal situations, surfing, Photoshop ETC are excellent using a Noctua CPU cooler unit. AIDA 64 screen shot attached after 3hrs of surfing, Photoshop, some office work...
I do a lot of Video editing using Premiere Pro and I feel that more ram would be more useful than a more expensive motherboard. I have just gotten the same case and the USB C socket works just fine with other motherboards { PCS do a lovely job with cable management }. Puget systems a major high...
I tried all that to no avail . But luckily my son had a couple of Noctua fans in his house { too ugly for his set up apparently :). So I just fitted them and the system is now whisper quiet , plus as they are PWM the can be easily controlled . Thanks for the help and hope you have a great Christmas

While I don't mind fan noise when I am actually doing stuff as I will be wearing headphones . The case fans are running at full speed all the time even when totally idle there does not seem to be any way to control this as the bios qfan settings do nothing. Having noisy fans in a silence focused...
I am certainly not recommending it to others :) I am simply pointing that there are other usage cases , not everyone needs or wants to overclock for the vast majority of my time on the PC , I value silence above all else . I was giving my use case with silence for 95% of the time when I am not...
Looking at a number of tests from the likes of Tech Jesus { Steve at GamersNexus :) } .Whilst under stress testing on multi-core CPU’s the higher end AIO’s do indeed do better the middle of the road models such as the H100i PRO the differences in temps are not that big a deal. As ever it is a...
Steve, though I have seen tests showing that the cooler that comes with the 5600X does a job. I think that AMD CPU's prefer faster RAM and better cooling to get the most from them. The price difference between 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz and 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)...
