    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST NTSC screen

Just noticed all laptops have NTSC screen. Here in Italy we use PAL standard for television. Will I have problems trying to connect laptop to my tv, or I just bypass the issue by using HDMI ? It's probably a dumb question, but I want to be sure before buying, you know...

... if I get 2 of the same laptop? I'm going to buy it in a month or so, and today a friend of mine has expressed interest in buying the same model. The spec would be the following:

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Undecided between two specs

Interesting read here, thanks all. So, since I'm getting a laptop with a 1080 screen (and i'm not going to get a secondary monitor for 1440p), 2060 seems the right choice, because it should run at max settings in 1080p all 2019, 2020 games and it could start to need lower settings in 3 years and...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Undecided between two specs

Problem is, the one I posted with 2070 has max Q version, which seems on par with 2060 in terms of benchmarks (not so few recent games runs even slower on 2070 max Q than 2060, according to notebookcheck, which is not the bible but is a reliable source). Only difference right now is VRAM...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Undecided between two specs

Hello ! I'm planning to buy a new notebook in the next couple months, so I configured a couple solutions. I don't know which one is more worth, performance-side. The difference in price is not a problem. This is the first one This is the second one: Few days ago there was also the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hello, new member here

I think I choose Defiance, for a ~200€ lower price I have identical specs (besides gpu), but a win 10 pro license against no license (would have to move the one I'm using now in the new laptop, and install linux in the old one, meh), and 1 year dead pixel warranty against no dead pixel...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hello, new member here

Thanks for the answer :) Didn't notice the 2070 was normal in recoil... Mhhhh benchmarks on notebookcheck says that 2060 is ~15% on average slower than 2070... Not sure if the difference of 280€ between the two GPUs is justified or not... damn choices :D

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hello, new member here

Hi ! I'm about to change my honored clevo P170SM with a defiance V but I have a couple questions before buying: 1) What are the differences between defiance and recoil models? Both are 17.3" and fully configurable with the same options. I guess recoil is just thinner? 2) I've seen there's...
