there is a button next to power button on the recoil rtx III chassis that switches between game and office mode. I was doing some rendering and through I would test what this button did. CPU temp was at 67 degrees constant, I have a laptop cooler fan underneath too. I switched to 'game mode' and...
to be honest I've used macbook pro 2015 for similar work and although when running just internet and small load apps you will get longer. using something like that for actual work it only has a small advantage in terms of battery life. good luck with your search
I have the recoil rtx III same cpu, 32gb and rtx 2060 6gb which has 3 cell 46kwh. this lasts max 1hour 30 with browsing internet. Any sort of cpu load reduces this, I might be able to squeeze and hour at best out of doing some after effects of cinema4d work. Think your battery is slightly larger...
I have the recoil rtx and i get the same .Its only a 46kwh battery..pretty small as I'd seen other laptops in the range with larger or competitors with 96kwh batteries. But I guess there's some trade off as the recoil chassis is very slim. I was a little disappointed but for me its easy to...
yeah i can give that a go. Seems to crash with memory management BSoD when rendering out of after effects so that would be a good test. will try tonight. thanks
yeah PCS staff asked me to run memtest. Ran it for 14hours came back with over 10m errors, 40% pass rate. So sent the logs over to PCS for them to check and diagnose issue.
I had asked about this to one of the PCS staff as I think one of the other chassis...the clevo i think has hotkey software mapping. But the response I got was that the chassis for the Recoil only has gaming centre and that I would have to find another 3rd party piece of software. so was just...
