PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Brand New Desktop - Blank Black Screen on First Start

I've been using Kaspersky for years - never had an issue with it. As to the power. The 200-250W elbow room will help somewhat then, though obviously not enough to account for the entire gap. I'll keep an eye on it and see if I need to upgrade the power supply sooner rather than later. TBH the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Brand New Desktop - Blank Black Screen on First Start

I got it all set up now - replaced Norton properly. I went with the power supply that PCSpecialist reccomended for the build, with a little elbow room on top of that by about 200-250W - I hadn't clocked the larger power supply that you reccomended. No issues so far, but what might I expect?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Brand New Desktop - Blank Black Screen on First Start

Hi, I've just ordered a brand new desktop, it's arrived, I've plugged everything in, and the screen is completely blank except for a cursor. I've got no idea why - as it is supposed to have had everything set up ready to go except for the initialization of Windows, but i'm getting nothing. It's...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D BIOS Overheat Clarification

Hi, Just two quick questions, I have ordered a new pc to replace my dinosaur and I've gone for the new AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I've recently heard that this cpu sometimes overheats and damages itself due to over-voltage from something called 'automatic overclocking' - This is all wizardry to me...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hi, I'm looking for some advice - and this is mostly sorcery to me.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hi, I'm looking for some advice - and this is mostly sorcery to me.

Sorry, I've had a fiddle, and there's this possibility as well (if we discount the monitor debate for the moment): Case CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™ i7 16-Core Processor i7-13700K (3.4GHz) 30MB Cache Motherboard ASUS® ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hi, I'm looking for some advice - and this is mostly sorcery to me.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback! As it stands, the £200 monitor was just meant to be a stop-gap before a later upgrade, but I could stretch it to £400 now without overly stressing the matter if it means not having to worry about upgrading the gpu for a while. I'm happy to invest now in a 4070 and...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Hi, I'm looking for some advice - and this is mostly sorcery to me.

So, I'm looking at a gaming pc - with some streaming capabilities (though that isnt a priority). I'm gonna pay for it monthly, with a budget of roughly £70-£80 pounds a month (which puts it in the ballpark of about £1800-£1900). The entire budget for that is going on the tower - i'm gonna buy...
