Hi,

I was just watching a video in my browser and then my pc froze the audio made a brrr sound and then the PC restarted itself after a couple seconds. I didn't get a blue screen or anything just freeze and restart. Does anyone know what would cause this? I checked that my PC wasn't overheated but I'm unsure what other things could cause this.

Lots of things could be the potential cause - has it only happened the once or is it reoccurring?

Typical culprits - driver failures or software conflicts.
