advice please

This is my first time buying a pc. My budget for the system is £2000. I’m going to buy a 1440p 144hz monitor. I will use it to play high end games like r6. Need some advice on any ways to make it better.

I reckon you can do much better than this without spending a lot more money. The biggest thing is your graphics card: if you are on a standard 1440p 144Hz monitor, you can go for the 3060 Ti instead of the 3070, which saves a lot of money. You can also cut out the sound card.

You can then spend the savings on upgrading to a better case, a current-gen CPU, the X570 motherboard, a second SSD for storing games, an upgraded power supply, a better cooler, a better WiFi card and £5 worth of upgraded warranty. I'm also suggesting getting rid of Bulldog and going for an ARGB strip.

This comes to £1899. You could go for the 3070 for £2086 if you wanted to drive the monitor to its limit.

Other possible upgrades would be the memory speed (to 3600MHz) and maybe going for a 980 SSD to get the maximum possible speed.
