I just received my Ionico 15inch laptop.

I have to say its really a fantastic laptop. Compared to other big giant manufacture like Dell, Lenovo, Asus, pcspecialist laptop are far better in quality and cost effective. For example the laptop that I got iconic 15 inch core i7 64 GB RAM 2 TB harddrive with dell would nearly cost 2 times that of the one offered by PC specialist.

Even though the website says the laptop might not work with Linux and we are on our own, the ionico worked perfectly fine with Linux mint 20.1 all drivers everything seems to work fine with Ionico.

I also have to say the docking station provided by pcspecialist is really cool. I very small, you can carry it in your pockets.

The only thing I would recommend to users who are purchasing the laptop is to go through spec carefully before you order.
Like I miss understood the difference between type-c and thunderbolt 3. I was actually looking for thuderbolt3 and some how i had a belief that they were one and the same and order ionico instead of definace but thats not a big deal for me now anyways.

The thunderbolt / USB C confusion is a very common misconception.

The next version of usb - USB 4 which is now starting to roll out to new devices, actually fully merges USB C and Thunderbolt, so finally there will be one version that has everything, no more usb 3.1.2 which is different to 3.1 which is different to thunderbolt.
