Hi all

I've seen the FRACTAL MESHIFY S2 has come into stock at PCS - can I just verify the size dimensions are correct at: 538 (H) x 233 (W) x 465 (D) mm - or have they got the height/depth sizes mixed up, because the other case FRACTAL DEFINE R6 BLACK which I was considering is 465 (H) x 233 (W) x 543 (D) mm and it's by the same manufacturer?

I'm only asking because I need it to fit into my desk pedestal area and 538 mm in height might be too tall for it to fit into.

Many thanks

Desk pedestals are a brilliant way to roast your hardware especially if the system has an AIO or other fans on the roof / any place that is meant to be taking air in that is obstructed by a desk.

Case dimensions (LxWxH) 543 x 233 x 465 mm
Case dimensions w/o feet/protrusions/screws 535 x 233 x 448 mm

Case dimensions (LxWxH)538 x 233 x 465 mm
Case dimensions w/o feet/protrusions/screws 530 x 233 x 448 mm

You could get the Meshify C which is also now back in stock and much more compact

Case dimensions (LxWxH) 395 x 212 x 440 mm
Case dimensions - with feet/protrusions/screws 413 x 217 x 453 mm

And less expensive to boot.

A aah...I knew I should have checked online for the dimensions... PCS threw me a googly by having the Meshify C at 538mm for (Height) on their configuration but I see that's now Length and almost identical to the Define R6 in terms of size. It was in relation to my 'spec' thread https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...-new-pc-after-10-years-out-of-the-loop.66187/ and I ultimately went and ordered with the Define R6 case. I just thought the Meshify C would look better on 'display' instead of hidden away in the pedestal.

Your right I will probably need to find a way of keeping the case out of the pedestal for sufficient cooling esp. now I've ordered the R9 3900x - the compact case you mentioned probably wouldn't be appropriate with what I've ordered. So I'll stick with the Define R6 case, cheers.

The Fractal Meshify C is appropriate, it is compact but excellent for airflow. Bigger case =/= better cooling
