Hello i have the Corsair LL series fans and all but one of them run at the normal rpm at low usage and can be controlled in the bios and in software like speedfan, however, the one CPU fan no matter what i do always remains at 4000 rpm. Any ideas as to why? Thanks.

Is this a PCSpecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Is it a PCSpecialist system? Did you buy it from PCSpecialist? If not can you link where you bought it from?

You’re logged into the main PCS website with the account you ordered from?

They're different accounts, the forum login is different to the PCS logon.

Easy fix dude go into your bios same MB as me and you can set your fan curve for the CPU
He’s already mentioned that’s not working.

But there are so many unknowns here, is it an air cooler in which case 4000rpm is waaay too low, is it a pump reading, is it an AIO?

We need to know what we’re dealing with before we can advise.

Ok sorry didn't read properly. He mentions only one of the fans cant be controlled in the bios accep for 1 try wiring it to a different power socket and see if that works. Also have a look when you unplug your cpu fan is there 4 pin or 3 pin

It's the CPU fan, it doesn't wire to a power socket, there is only 1 socket on the motherboard that takes the CPU Fan. If you were to plug it into a CHFan header or something, the CPU would burn out.

With regards to power, it all depends again, if it's an AIO or air cooler.

I appreciate you're trying to help, but without any facts we can't give accurate advice.
