AIO not powering up

Hello,
The AIO that my wife now uses is not 'turning on'. I've checked the power lead and also plugged directly into the wall socket rather than athe surge protected extension. The only thing I can see is the light by the on/off button that blinks about every three seconds when I continuously hold the on button. Seems to me that maybe the power unit or maybe motherboard has failed.
It was bought from PC Specialist in 2016 but has now obviously run out of the three year warranty.
I'm looking for advice on what the likely cost would be to resolve/repair if I decided to return it to PCS, or am I better to just accept that it's a 6 year old PC and get a replacement? Many thanks, Roger

I can't really comment on what the repair cost could be, it would depend on whether PCS still even stock the required components to enact any repairs. I'd suggest regardless of how you end up proceeding it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask PCS directly to see if they can support a repair if needs be. The AIOs are now 'vanguards' rather than 'maestros' and I'm not sure if the components are compatible (its unlikely in fairness).

If nothings flashing up, further troubleshooting will be challenging, I'm not sure whether the AIO's have internal lights on the motherboard (or other components) which light up during the boot process and could indicate a fault? Have you ever taken the back panel off to have a look inside to see if this is the case?

Many thanks for your reply. I'm thinking that because the on/off light doesn't stay lit up (but only blinks every few seconds when I hold the button on) then there's unlikely to be any lighting up within the PC itself. I guess I could take the back panel off and take a look, but otherwise, I'll do as you suggest and contact PCS. Cheers.
