For the first time, I will become a pc gamer after being an Xbox gamer. I just see the advantages of PC as being superior even if the price tag will be larger to start with. I've learned the basics and just need some advice on where to go with GPUs. I am planning to spend £1000 on an overall package for my pc, planning to make it somewhat powerful to last at least a few years until upgrading is required. I go onto youtube to look and compare the GPUs within my range but being new and with most YouTubers nowadays IMO it's all just too complicated with mixed signals. So I'm hoping you guys with help to give a reason why I should choose 1 GPU over the other.
The GPU's I have in mind are:
6GB Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1660 - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR READY!
6GB Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX GTX VR READY!
6GB Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX GTX VR READY!
6GB Nvidia GEFORCE RTX 2060 - HDMI, DP - VR READY!
I would think that obviously, the 2060 would be the best choice. However, would it be worth going for the top 1660 to help put more funds into other parts of the PC, or would another slightly lower 1660 be worth the lower price?
Any and all recommendations would be seriously appreciated!
